Al Hillal had tried to transfer the Portuguese since before the World Cup for Club, while Al Nasr has shown interest following Jorge Jesus' appointment as a coach.
However, Fernandes has decided to stay in Europe at least until the conclusion of the 2026 World Cup, reports Telegraph, broadcast Periscope.
The captain of the “Red Days” is connected to the club by 2027, while the contract also has an extension option.
