Anti-Albanian calls to the Kumanovo match, one arrested and several interviewed

“pure Macedonia”, “The good Albanian is the late Albanian” and “Gas Room for Albanians” are some of the slogans sung by local fans, calls related to the Nazi rhetoric of extermination, made in the presence of Prime Minister Hristian Mickoski, Kumanovo Chairman Maxim Dimitrievski, Foreign Minister Panco Toshkovski, and Deputy Prime Minister Ivan Stoilkovic, in the weekend match.

“Linked to the basketball match that took place in 02.08.2025 at the Kumanovo Sports Palace, several suspects have already been summoned to the Kumanovo Police Department and an official interview has been conducted, and following tests conducted in co-ordination with Kumanovo Public Prosecutor, specific legal measures will be taken against the persons involved, including prosecution. Today, the officers of the Kumanovo Police Department deprived him of S.M. freedom.
