After the 1-0 victory in the first match in Tetovo, the Reds travelled to Bucharest with a slight, but very cautious advantage.
The return match to the “Arena Na ional<18x1> resulted in dramatic and exciting results, ending with victory of 1-2 for Scypressia, which in total marked a total score of 1-3 and secured the passage.
Match: From Shock to Lavd
The meeting started out badly for Shkkanja. In the 28th minute, FCSB assailant Cisotti seized a uncertainty in the protection of the Redspots and scored the advantage goal for locals, sparking hopes for a collapse.
But Shkkanja's reaction came immediately and in a remarkable way. Just five minutes later, in the 33rd minute, creative midfielder Liridon Latifi achieved a beautiful goal, restoring the barracks and the tranquillity of the theatre camp.
In the second part, coach Faton Baker showed caution, tactical discipline, and race spirit. They managed local pressure and punished at the right time.
In the 87th minute, quarterback Krstevski went up the attack and achieved the second goal, sealing Shskiniya's historic triumph at one of the largest stadiums in Eastern Europe.
The Great Qualification and the Face of the Cable
Victory over a prestigious team and tradition such as FCSB Bucharest's former Steawa, Europe champion in 1986, is an extraordinary success for Albanian football and a testimony to the continued growth of Shfkalija as a club.
With this qualifications, Shkendija ensures its guaranteed participation in the play-off phase of the League of Europe, but the great aim is to keep the dream towards the phase of the Champions League. In the third circle, the Reds will face Azerbaijanan champion Charles ʹ another difficult but far from the possibility of a team playing with heart and confidence.
The first match against the Charles will take place next week, while Shknja fans already dream more. Albanian football has one more reason to celebrate!
We remember that light will now play in Europe's third circle of League against The FCSB's until the Church has already secured the hold on the League of Conference.
