Real Madrid has officially asked the La League to postpone the opening match of the season against Ossawa, scheduled for 19 August to “Santiago Bernabéu”
The Madrillan club is still in competition at the World Cup for Club and requires more time for rest and preparation.
Ossauna and the Spanish Football Federation are willing to accept the postponement until 29 October. However, La League has not yet given its approval.
Final decision expected after Real's semifinal match against P SG's this week under the World Cup for Club.
