The death of the 28-year-old comes just a month after he helped Portugal win the title of League of Nations, triumphing over Spain in the June 8th final.

Yourta and his brother Andre Silva lost their lives in the Spanish province of Zamora in an accident shortly after midnight Thursday. The vehicle with which the two young men traveled came out of the street and exploded in flames.
