Liverpool's 28-year-old Portuguese footballer Diogo Jotham reportedly died earlier this morning ( Thursday) in a traffic accident in the province of Zambia.
According to the newspaper Marca, the accident occurred at the 65th mile of the A-52 Highway near the municipality of Palacio de Sanabria.
Liverpool's player died when the vehicle he was traveling with his brother Andre, a 26-year-old professional footballer, came out of the street, sparking fire.
According to witnesses who phoned 112, the car was swept into flames, which spread to nearby vegetation, reports Telegraph, broadcast Periscope.
