Granit Jaka can return to Premier League, an English team begins talks with Leverkusen

According to journalist Sacha Tavolier, Zeza's Maces have made a bold move to secure the services of the former Arsenal captain.

Jaka is expected to leave Bayer Leverkusen this summer, after only two successful seasons in Bundesliga.

Sunderland has started talks with Germany's champions on a deal that reportedly amounts to 10m euros, reports Telegraph, broadcast Perixopi.

Also, the English club is willing to offer 32-year-old a three-year contract to convince it of this new adventure.

Sunderland climbed to Premier League via play-off and is calling for experienced reinforcements to ensure survival.

For Jaka, this would be a beautiful return to England, where he spent seven years with Arsenal before moving to Leverkusen.
