According to “The Aztec”, 32-year-old midfielder is in advanced talks to transfer to Neom SC, one of Saudi Pro League's ambitious young clubs.
The former captain of Arsenal, currently part of Bayer Leverkusen, is reported to have expressed a desire to leave Germany's champions after a historic season titled to Bundesliga and a final of the League of Europe.
Neom SC is building an ambitious new project, and this summer it has already secured the firm of Alexander Lacante, another former Arsenal player, as well as the appointment of Christophe Galtier to the pankia.
What stands out is that Jaka has rejected a serious offer by Milan 50 Italian club that had shown concrete interest in the Albanian midfielder.
If the deal is finalised, Jaka will become part of a new wave of stars that are choosing Saudi Arabia as destination, following in the footsteps of Ronaldo, Benzema, Canta and many others. /Periscopi/
