According to the report by Italian journalist, this transfer is conditional on whether Manchester United will activate the 20m-euro repatriation clause, which was included during the transfer of the Benfida Carrera to 2024, records the telegraph.
If United does not act, the 22-year-old player is expected to travel to Madrid to finalise his transition to Spanish giants.
Carreras, who debuted with Manchester United at the age of 19, is seen as an important investment in Real Madrid's future, joining the younger generation of talents such as Winnicius Jr.
