Kosovo's Appeals Court has annulled the Constitutional Court's decision in Pristina, the branch in Lipjan, to appoint detention to five policemen involved in the event of Agon Zejnullah.
Through an announcement, Appely has revealed that complaints of defendant I.N. defenders, A.R., A.K., L.R. And E.B., and the case has become retrial.
Lawyer Besnik Berisha has also reacted to the case.
“actually, it was one of the most embarrassing decisions they have signed, sometimes in my career,” Berisha said, stressing that Apel has confirmed precisely in legal language what he and five of his colleagues had filed in complaint.
According to him, the five police officials are being held unjustly in custody for a case that, as he put it, “has not occurred either as their fault or with any contribution of their own, nor as a result caused by them”.
He added that the Court of Appeals has clearly found that in the case there were violations of the essential nature.
“The Court of Appeals has approved our complaints and found there are violations and weaknesses of essential nature”, Berisha stressed in Dukagjin. /Periscopi/
