Swiss media have long written about the possibility that the midfield duo in the helvetic representative consisting of Granit Jaka and Ardon Jashar. In the 4:2 victory over Mexico last week, former seer Murat Yakin did not decide on this pair. Yasar replaced Jaka for the second half.
But the two Albanians started in Switzerland on Tuesday and Wednesday evening in the easy-earned match against the US, 4:0. The friendly match in Nashville, U.S.A., was decided in the first part. Yasar was among the best, contributing to two of the four goals. Jaka was stable as well.
Thus, the U.S. tournament was very successful for Switzerland, which is now expected to play more frequently, if not regularly, with Jashar and Jashar in the middle of the world.
The US has suffered numerous shortages and suffered fourth consecutive losses. But that does not diminish the appearance of the helvetics.
We fought with faith, we had ideas, and we built a 40 advantage. I'm very happy with my appearance alongside Ardon Jashar. We've won another player with him and this race is good for all of us. When you win this way and finish your job in the first place, you can be happy. We'll finally be ready to start with qualifications in September”, Granit Jaka said.
The first qualifying match for the 2026 World, held in the US, Canada and Mexico, Switzerland, plays it on September 5th against Kosovo. The long-awaited match is scheduled to take place at Basel. On September 8th, Switzerland awaits Slovenia. Switzerland counts the group's favourite, which includes Sweden, reports Koha.net, broadcasts Periscope.
Jaka has been captain and incontinent leader of Switzerland for many years. Meanwhile, 22-year-old Yasar has had a brilliant edition of Club Brugge. The best player in Belgium's championship has been chosen, while he also shone in the league phase in Champions. Consequently, he has become a strong candidate for the country on the Swiss base team, where there was little space so far.
By “20 Minuten”, Jaka is rated at 4.5 out of 6 at the maximum. This newspaper has written that Jaka has led the game well with Yasar, who has given her full freedom to start the shares.
Yasar is valued with grade five. Following Yasar's two assistings, “20 Minunten” has written that more is now required of this player.
The best in Switzerland was named Johann Manzambi.
All Swiss media have written about midfield dominance, thanks to Jaka and Jashar's presentation.
Yasar is also satisfied with his partnership with Jaka.
“Combination has worked well”, he said. Jaka has given some tactical advice that Yasar has tried to apply.
Murat Yakin has even praised the midfield double game.
“well harmonised together”, Yakin told Swiss television.
An interesting summer may be in store for Yasar. The biggest European teams are looking for him. But he's thinking first just to rest. /Periscope/
