It was rumored that the Foda could leave this summer, before the start of the qualifying matches for the 2026 World Championships, causing concerns among sportsmen in the country. But Ademi has denied any information suggesting a possible escape of the German coach.
Through a post in his official profile, Ademi said FFK didn't receive an official announcement from Foda or his representatives, and that the current contract is in effect.
After reporting that choice Franco Foda is about to leave his post in our Nationale, I would like to inform the public opinion that neither I, as president, nor FFK as an institution, we have received any official announcement from representatives of the Foda Selector or any other side”.
