U n EFA has ruled out 13 clubs from the European League among them and the Albanian team

U n The EFA has banned 13 teams from the European League in its history, and the reasons range from corruption to financial problems.

The European football governing body supervises tournaments such as the European Championship, Champions League, the League of Europe and the League of Conference.

But sometimes they have intervened and stopped several clubs from competing because of various violations of the rules.

Four clubs have been banned from competing in the Champions League, which is seen as the main competition of U clubs. EFA, while two nations have been banned from competing in the European Championship since its beginning in 1960.

But which clubs have been forced to refrain from participating in the League of Europe, the secondary race for U clubs. EFA?

Besiktas was excluded from competitions in June 2013 and suffered a one-year suspension for their involvement in the trick of domestic matches, as reported by BBC Sports at the time, reports Telegraph, broadcast Periscope.

The other Turkish team, Fenerbahce, was also suspended for two years for involvement in the trick of domestic matches.

Milan was expelled from the League of Europe for the 2019/20 season due to violations of Fair Financial Play rules.

In 2012, the Spanish team Malaga was suspended for two years by W EFA and was expelled from the race in 2013/14 because of unpaid bills. The second year was removed after the appeal, but the CAS rejected their attempt to overthrow the first.

The Swiss FC Zion team was expelled from the 2011/12 European League for introducing inappropriate players who were signed while the club was still under a ban on transfers imposed by FIFA. This allowed Celtic to return to the race in that season.

Serbia's Partizan Belgrade was excluded from the Champions League and the European League for three seasons in 2017 due to unpaid debts.

Scotland's Rangers could not compete in European competitions in the 2013/14 season, as the club's “administrator... acknowledged that the club is unable to meet the 31 March account deadline set by UEFA”.

In 2013, Rapid Bucharest was also excluded for a year from European clubs from the League of Europe and the Champions League.

Meanwhile, Steaua was detained on bail for a year with a five-year trial period following charges of match trick, reported by Sofia Globe.

The Ukrainian team, Dnipro, received a one - year suspension in 2016 because of financial problems.

Romania's Azer Inter Baku club and Targu Muraş were also suspended for a season.

U n EFA said the bans will be implemented in the coming season, if clubs qualify for the Champions League or the League of Europe for a three-szone period, according to Reuters.

In 2018, the Albanian team, Skenderbeu, was disfellowshipped for ten years from all UEFA competitions, including the League of Europe, and fined 1m euros, after CAS said its “panel gladly discovered that Skenderbeu was responsible for match trick activities” in both domestic and continental matches, according to the AP.Periscope/
