The head of the Albanian football government stressed that the main goal is to achieve a positive outcome, holding a fair match and in the spirit of the sports race.
Also, President Duka commented on the process of distributing tickets through computer lots, ensuring full transparency and following UEFA standards.
Below, President Duke's full interview for Top Channel:
The match against Serbia? Our job is to organize it well, play it well and get three points. I have told the Federation of Serbia leaders that we will prepare the match as such and that they will come here as a sports opponent and nothing more. I'm confident there'll be a sports atmosphere, but no doubt combating sports.
Pressure on football players? We're all human beings and football players too, and we're affected by the environment. We'll try our best to separate the sport from all non-communicational emotions. What I say to football players or to any man is that in this situation your job is to do well to do what they've asked you to do and you've been charged with football. If we win a football game, let anyone see it any way he wants, but you have to win it once, it's kind of an abstraction that everyone sees as he wants, but the good is to win it.
Is this a final for us, for our objective, which is second place in the group? A positive score, 3 points in this match, really gives us a lot of reason and hope to continue and reach second place. If it happens differently, things get harder. But that doesn't mean even if we win the match, we secure the second place.
How do you think we can win this match in front of Serbia? We can't just measure up to our individual sports qualities. Serbia in its composition has very good qualities, playing in strong teams, economically valued in mercato with high-digit footballers, but to join and make a team, I think we have a better team.
In a fight with such interest, why was the method of computer divination used? When demand is 20 or 30 times larger, it would certainly be suspicious, but I guarantee that it's a random lot that makes the system itself and this lot and the system is the same one that uses. U n The EFA for European or Champions League matches for tickets sold for free sale. If we were to take them online without a spell, it could be even more critical, or people would have made them stand in front of the computer for hours, while that is how we considered it to be better and better for the match.
