Knicks secured the title Saturday evening against San Antonio Spurs, 94-90, in the fifth match of the best “of seven”, writes BBCPerscope broadcast.
As the match took place in Texas, New Yorkers took to the streets of their hometowns in large numbers to see and celebrate the historic moment for the team, its fans and the entire city.
Some fans also went to Texas, where the two teams faced Frost Center, the Spurs house arena.
