Scandal in England's camp: An estimated $18,000 device is lost

England has had about $18,000 (,500 pounds) of property stolen from a robbery by a vehicle carrying equipment, according to Jackson County's prosecutor's office.

Two people, Mustafa Salick and Erfan Kamal, have been charged in connection with the incident, which occurred during the shipment of equipment from England's pretour camp to Florida to Kansas City.

Despite the incident, the British Football Federation (FA) has stressed that nothing was taken that would affect preparations for Wednesday's opening match against Croatia.

From stolen property, according to judicial documents published by BBC Sports, have been obtained:


  1. four pairs of football shoes
  2. a football
  3. a pair of doorkeeper gloves
  4. Training devices

Three signed fans, worth about $15,000, have also been taken.

According to reports, much of the stolen items have already been recovered.

  9. 4 long - sleeved blue T - shirts
  10. 4 T - shirts with short sleeves
  11. 2 “played”
  12. Multifunctional prise ($40)
  13. a JBL ($149.95) sound
  14. (99.99 dollars)

The two indictees face one count of possession of stolen property, D category criminal offence in Missouri law, which could bring 1 to 7 years in prison.

England's Protector Dan Burns said the team is not very worried:

We've lost nothing personally... it's in the police, it hasn't talked about it much, and it hasn't ruined our preparations. ”

Jackson County prosecutor Melesa Johnson said no criminal activity to be tolerated against World Cup visitors and that authorities are acting quickly to hold suspects accountable.

While Kansas City Mayor Quinton Lucas praised the police work and said authorities would ensure that any violation of the law is immediately punished./ Periscope.
