Australian breaks world record with 7,079 climbers per 24 hours

Olivia Vinson, a 34-year-old woman from Australia, has broken the world record for the largest number of climbers (rop-ups) performed by a woman within 24 hours, reaching a total of 7079 climbs. This remarkable figure is almost double the previous record set in 2021 by Paula Gorlo with 4081 climbers.

After a three - month period of training, Vinson was forced to temporarily stop preparing for an injury to the tail tendon. But after the recovery, she returned and managed to realise an average of five climbs per minute for 24 hours.

Vincenson said that this achievement has opened up a new perspective on personal boundaries and the power of human will. /Periscopi/
