That is why Arbnor Spahiu resigned from Kosovo Police, then received permission to stay in Germany

This is because Spahiu was arrested and sent to custody for a month, on charges of being part of the police unit in Banjska.

Spahiu's lawyer, Arian Koci, has committed himself to achieving justice for him, dealing with handling his case.

In a proposal for IndexOnline, Koci said briefly that Arbnor Sapiu has resigned from all his duties and commitments with the Kosovo Police on November 1st of 2022. He also said Arbnor has residence permits in Germany, broadcast Periscope.

That is factual, documented and Koci will testify before the Serbian authorities.

His voluntary resignation was approved by the 01.11.2022! The reason for the resignation was the family reunion. We have delivered all these evidence to Serbia's court! ” said Koci.

Even officially, the MPJD confirmed the arrest of former Special Unit member Arbnor on June 7th at the border checkpoint between Hungary and Serbia.

On June 9th, around 8:00, he appeared before the trial of the preliminary procedure at the District Court in Subotica, where the 30-day detention measure was assigned. Actually, Mr. Spahiu is located at the Subotic Paraven Centre.

According to family statements and defence attorney, the charges filed against Mr. Spahiu has something to do with Banjska. They consider these accusations completely groundless and fabricated, stressing that Mr. Spahiu has completed his service in the Kosovo Police since 2022 and has since lived in Germany with his family” MPJD.

The ministry, through the Interconnecting Office in Belgrade, has announced diplomatic missions of the Belgrade-accredited Quint countries, and the entire diplomatic body in Kosovo, on the case. In particular, regular communication is being maintained with the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany, considering that Mr. Spahiu has a regular stay in Germany.
