Next session on May 13th

Because of the lack of political agreement among the parties, the process has remained blocked. The chairman decided that the next meeting would be held on May 13th, starting at 10:00.

Democratic Party of Kosovo Chairman Memli Krasniqi said President Vjosa Osmani would have to gather representatives of political parties at a table to find a way out of the institutional crisis.

Krasniqi said that “it has the legitimate mandate” to do so.

We have no legitimate prime minister, we have neither Parliament Speaker, we have only the president who is in her mandate”, he said.

“in this crisis, I'm confident that the president can take a role, at least to organize that table that we've speculated about”, Krasniqi said.

He said that “is up to her to decide when”.

“The Democratic Party of Kosovo, you know that in any meeting to unblock the situation,” will participate, Krasniqi said.

Vetevendosje Movement MP Mimoza Kusari-Lila has reacted to the situation created in the Kosovo Assembly, naming the blocking of the constitution as meaningless and paradoxical.

Referring to LDK MP Hykmete Bajrami's initiative for collecting signatures aimed at sending both ERE decisions to the Constitutional, Kusari-Lila said it is unacceptable while the Assembly is still not functional.

“The collection of signatures raising issues with ZRE makes sense. It's clear this job and the first by regulations. But the ZRR reports to the Parliament Commission. But we don't have heads or deputy heads of the Assembly and leave commissions. To be accomplished first by those collecting signatures. We have 48 more hours. Kusari-Lila also accused the MPs of last legislature's opposition that, with the boycott of constitutional hearings, they are causing violations of the Constitution.
