According to the presidency's announcement, the recent developments in the country and the region have been discussed at this meeting for strategic relations with the United States and Kosovo's Euro-Atlantic perspective.
President Osmani has expressed gratitude for continued and bipartisan support from the American Congress, stressing the importance both of Congress chambers in maintaining peace, security and empowering the international position of the state of Kosovo.
The report further says Osmani has stressed that the US role has been determining for Kosovo's fate, for peace, freedom and the statehood process.
It underscored the Republic of Kosovo's commitment to peace, as well as to NATO and EU membership, naming Euro-Atlantic integration a key step for strengthening security and stability in Kosovo, in the region, as well as throughout the European continent”, the announcement concludes. /Periscope/
