There was a fantastic season for Liverpool, as they managed to win Premier League title in the debut season of Arne Slot as coach.
The Dutchman had the almost impossible task of replacing Jurgen Klopp, but soon won the hearts of the “Anfield” fans.
Looking to the future, Liverpool is expected to be active in summer merkato.
Trent Alexander - Arnold will leave soon after the end of his contract, with the 26-year-old expected to join the Spanish team of La League, Real Madrid.
Meanwhile, names such as Jeremie Frimpong, Florian Xirsz and Milos Kerkez have been talked out as Liverpool's targets.
Speaking after Sunday's 1-1 draw against Crystal Palace, the second current goalkeeper, Caoimhin Kelleher, appeared to have expressed his desire to leave the club. He told of “Optus Sport”:
I think I've already said that I'm good enough to be number one. I feel like I'm capable of playing every week and that's what I'm trying to do. ”
Kellher added:
I had the luck of playing a lot of fights this season, but it's obviously something I'm looking at. ”
The 26-year-old has often been the replacement for the first goalkeeper, Aliceson Becker, and has shown a trusted replacement, reports Express Journal, Periscope.
During the 2024/25 season, Keleher held a total of 20 presentations in all competitions, holding nine intact gates.
Over the past few months, the Irish goalkeeper has been linked to several different clubs, including Chelsea, West Ham United and Neucstle United.
Keleher's future has been the focus of attention since Liverpool reached an agreement to bring in the goalkeeper of Valencia, Giorgi Mamardashvili, this summer.
Georgia is expected to be Alison's rival for the 2025/26 season.
Speaking recently, Mamardashvili said:
They see me as Liverpool's goalkeeper for the next ten years. So my next step is going to be the same as I go, prove myself and tell you what I can do. All it takes is patience, training, and hard work. The rest will come. I'm not thinking about another loan. I'm going to spend the next season at Liverpool, I think it's going to be good, and Aliceson's training will help me grow up and gain experience” /Periscope/
