Yamal reached this record at the age of 17 and 291 days.
So far the youngest football player who had scored a goal in the Champions League semifinal was Kyian Mbppe, who did it 18 years and 140 days.
The Frenchman in 2017 was part of Monaco and scored a goal in the semi-final match against Juvento.
