Naples was crowned Italy's champion for the second time in three years, following a 2-0 victory over Caligiar in Stadio Maradona on Friday evening.
While the vast majority of Naples's supporters celebrated the title victory appropriately, there were several incidents that called for the intervention of emergency services.
By La Gazzetta dello Sport, at least 39 people have been injured, much of which have been burned by fireworks and pyrotechnics thrown during celebrations.
The Italian newspaper adds that 39 injuries are derived from two specific hospitals in downtown Naples and suggests that the actual figure is likely to be higher, reports Telegraph, broadcast Periscope.
Among the injured was an individual from Belgium who was stabbed in leg by two passersby while traveling with a scooter for no apparent reason.

There have also been injuries at the Fontana del Carciofo in Piazza Trieste and Trento.
Saturday's report adds that three individuals were arrested after celebrating the title of Naples, including a 26-year-old TikTok user with over 200,000 subscribers, who travelled with a scooter with two other passengers through a designated road block.
The 26-year-old was detained by police, and allegedly the person tried to leave the scene and was reportedly followed before throwing a gun into nearby gardens near Molosiglio.
A 59-year-old and a 32-year-old have also been arrested for trying to drive through roads that were closed due to celebrations. /Periscope/
