Osmani, met with the chief of the European Union's Mission for Election Observation, Eurodeputen Natalia Loisau, who also handed the report to the president.

The president has said that the presence of this mission with its threats testifies to the country's commitment to transparency, accountability, rule of law and the fulfilment of the highest democratic standards.

The President and Mission Chief Loisau also discussed the report's recommendations for improving further democratic processes in the country, it says, among other things.

President Osmani accepted EU Monitoring Mission report on 2025 parliamentary elections

The president of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, hosted the European Union's Chief of Election Observation Mission at the meeting today, Eurodeputen Natalie Loiseau, who handed the final report to this mission concerning the 2025 parliamentary elections.

President Osmani thanked the Eurodeputen Loisau and all members of the mission for engagement and professionalism shown throughout the election process. She stressed that the presence of this mission, at its request, testifies to the devotion of the Republic of Kosovo for transparency, accountability, rule of law and the fulfillment of the highest democratic standards.

President Osmani stressed that the 2025 parliamentary elections were a testimony to political and civic maturity in Kosovo, stressing that even this electoral process, conducted in a calm and orderly manner, confirmed that democracy in Kosovo is alive, stable and in continuous progress.

For its part, Mission Chief for Election Observation Loiseau commended President Osmani for his commitment to the Republic of Kosovo in defence of democratic values and for the peaceful organisation of the elections. She praised the maturity shown by Kosovo citizens, as well as the full co-operation offered to the observer mission.
