The Italian coach has agreed with the Madrill Club to cut off the current contract and is expected to take the lead in Brazil's national in June, when it will face Ecuador and Paraguay at the 2026 World Cup qualifications after 4-1 defeat in the last match against Argentina.
Anceplott is then expected to lead Brazil to the 2026 World Champions, to be held in the United States, Canada and Mexico, follows Periscope.
Speaking of his future before the weekend match in La League that Madrid won 3-2 over Celta Vigos, he said:
I respect Real Madrid, I love this club. So I can't answer what happens to my future after May 25th. ”
According to the report, it is possible for the club to publicly clarify Anceplott's future after the upcoming El Classicos towards FC Barcelona on May 11th.
In recent weeks there has been much uncertainty about the future of the Italian coach.
Various reports suggested that the deal with Brazil had failed after the Brazilian Federation had interrupted negotiations, but tensions have eased, and it appears that Anceplott is already ready for a new chapter with Selechaon.
Real Madrid was eliminated from Arsenal in the quarterfinals of the Champions League and lost the Cup del Rey 3-2 final against Barcelona, but continues to be in the race for the title in La League, where it is currently ranked second with only four points less than Coach Hansi Flick's Barcelona.
El Classico on May 11th in Barcelona may be the last for Anceplott at Real's helm.
His most likely replacement is the current coach of Bayer Leverkusen, Xabi Alonso, who has long been described as President Florentino Peres' main choice.
However, Alonso is not expected to take the lead in the World Cup for Cluj this summer in the US.
He and Leverkusen have an informal agreement that would allow him to leave in case Real Madrid makes the official call.
Anceplott is one of the most successful coaches in football history, with 31 large trophies won in Italy, France, Germany, Spain and England.
He is the only coach to have won champion titles in Europe's top five leagues and hold the record for more Champions League (5) and W EFA Supercup (5) as a coach. The victory of a great trophy with Brazil would be another climax in his legendary career.
Brazil, meanwhile, remains the only national that has qualified in every World Cup in history.
