The contract is signed between the KR “Cleaning” and the city cleaning municipality: Long-term solutions needed

In a statement to citizens, the KR “Cleaning” praised efforts to initiate co-operation.

“We explain that the surface space maintenance contract signed by the two sides has to do with maintaining and cleaning surface spaces, such as parks, neighborhood public spaces, and similar areas, and it constituted a completely different service from basic problems.“

However, the company emphasises that the main service of collecting and leaving waste continues to be blocked due to the failure to write off debts from the municipality, which covers a period of more than four months. These delays, according to “Cleaning”, are enabling fuel supply and normal functioning of the fleet of vehicles.

The signed contract is a positive step, but it does not solve the real problem. An urgent and long-term solution is needed for basic services and unpaid payments,” said in the response of the KR Board of Directors “Cleaning”.

The company appeals for an emergency meeting with the Pristina municipality to reach a stable agreement guaranteeing the return of normality and continued delivery of services to citizens.
