He said the first part was balanced and an advantage at that point would have greatly affected the course of the match.
“In the second half we could have done more”, the Portuguese coach stressed, reports Telegraph, broadcast Periscope.
Concecao acknowledged that very little football was played after Bologist's goal and his team did not react sufficiently. “We should congratulate the opponent, but we should have done better”, he added.
Coach explained that he had made some tactical choices before the match, trying to remain loyal to his usual preparations and style.
He estimated that the game was very physical, and his team often rushed to build stocks by failing to remain calm.
Concecao said the match reflected the difficulties Milan has experienced this season, but added that the first part was not negative, even though the team could have played better.
In the end, he expressed disappointment at the loss of a trophy and said they would try to end the season with dignity, starting with facing Rome. /Periscope
