The Central Election Commission on Thursday has not registered the new party, the Kosovar League (Kosovski Savez), led by Goran Marinkovic.
Five votes were for and four abstentions. Thus was the Office's recommendation for registering political parties for registering this new party rejected.
Earlier, CEC member from the Vetevendosje ranks, Alban Krasniqi, commented on the part of Kosovo League political programme that Kosovo does not refer by constitutional name to the Republic of Kosovo, reports Online Economy, Transmitt Periscope.
“Kosovo is not a geographical term, but it is a state”, Krasniqi has said.
The CEC removed the suspension of political party Kosova Adalat Türrk Partis from the agenda because it had not delivered him within the legal deadline, until April 28th 2025, the campaign's financial declaration report for the February 9th 2025 elections.
As told at the meeting, after this deadline this party has submitted its report on the financial declaration of the election campaign, and have subsequently fired the reasons for its suspension. To this political subject, due to the failure of the campaign's financial report within the legal deadline, on May 2nd 2025, the Office has imposed a fine of 5 thousand euros. /Periscope/
