The ruling, the Swiss headquarters court in Lioza, published on Monday. The FFK had complained about last November 15th match against Romania. NGK, under the verdict, has asked U n EFA keep the Romanian Football Federation responsible for the end of the match, as well as cancel the 6,000-euro fine.
But also CAS, the same as W. EFA, has estimated that the game was interrupted because Kosovo footballers unilaterally launched the playing field.
“Paneli torn apart the evidence and concluded that Kosovo players made a unilateral decision to leave the field, in the absence of a valid directive by the judge, and were responsible for the end of the match. The panel acknowledged that the Kosovo players' decision was taken because of some cheers. While they were unacceptable and subject to other sanctions by U EFA, they cannot justify abandoning the field by the Kosovo national team. It was up to the judge to decide about the steps to take”, it writes in the ruling published Monday.
So responsible for interrupting the match, same as U. EFA, CAS leaves the Kosovo players.
“Paneli noted that Kosovo players clearly refused to follow the judge's instructions to return to the field and continue to fight. The panel ruled that the Romanian FFK and federation were responsible for failing to finish the match. FFK complaint rejected and the controversial decision is backed”. /Periscope/
