The 53-year-old Croatian coach, who will receive approximately 750,000 euros, will share the amount with assistants Robert Kovac, his brother and Philip Tapalovic.
Kovac, who took the team's lead in February 2025 with Dortmund in 11th, led the team towards fourth place, winning 22 points in the last eight Bundesliga matches. His contract is valid until June 2026.
