According to police sources, shortly before losing his life, the 41-year-old had managed to call his wife, giving him the name of the person who had shot him and explaining his whereabouts with rough coordinates.
After that, his physical forces abandoned him, and he passed away at the scene.
The victim's wife immediately informed the police, who began intensive research in the area.
Initially, the victim's cell phone, covered in blood, was found, and his body was then found.
The victim has been identified as Altin Arapaj, an Albanian national with criminal precedents in Greece, known for involvement in drug issues and other criminal acts, while investigators suspect his murder is linked to personal spending.
Likewise, the man mentioned as the author of the murder, which according to his wife has been told on the phone by the vikim, is also of Albanian origin and known to authorities for involvement in drug cases while he is already on the run.
