Croatian police in Dubrovnik have concluded a criminal investigation into a 37-year-old Albanian citizen suspected of attempted murder and intrusive behaviour.
As reported Croatian mediaThe suspect has persecuted a 26-year-old BiH citizen, who is temporarily located in Croatia from July last year until mid-May of this year. He kept coming to her workplace and tried to start a romantic relationship with her despite her refusal.
The peak occurred on the evening of May 13th in Dubrovnik, when Albanian nationals physically attacked its 26-year-old acquaintance, also Bosnia and Herzegovina citizens. First he punched him in the head, and then, as he threatened to kill him, he tried to stab him in the neck with a sharp object. He was stopped by an employee of a nearby restaurant.
A young man and a relief worker were easily injured and attacked during the attack.
The suspect was arrested soon and, after a criminal investigation was completed and a criminal outcry was established, he was sent to the Dubrovnik-Neretva County Police Administration's detention unit last night./Periscopi/
