The group of Vetvendosje Movement assisters in Pristina has decided to boycott today's session of the capital's Municipal Assembly.
The order of the day for today's session is just one point: proposal to put the draft document of the Communist Development Plan to public consideration.
In a press release, the LVV in Pristina says it is the attempt of Prime Minister Progress Rama to smuggle the main municipal document on the city's development.
“This current draft of The PZHK, with 28 negative comments from MMPHI, envisions, among other things, expanding construction areas uncontrolledly, projecting roads passing through high-quality agricultural land and jeopardising protected water zones.
For this reason, the Vetevendosje Movement Assembly Group will not take part in this provisional session called by the outgoing chairman. We refuse to become part of a non-professional and harmful process for Pristina”, the report says.
