The Kosovo racer spent the eighth of the final after making a spectacular jump by rival Victor Sterpu to win with Ippon.
Earlier, Gjakova, who is racing in the category of up to 73 kilos, crossed the first circle without a war, while in that second he defeated Frenchman Maxime Gobert, who suffered knee injury and withdrew from the mechi after he could not continue.
