Following this ZERE decision, the establishment of the coffee price in the cafe is also being warned.
Naim Llapashtica, manager in a cafe, has said that on 1 May, the price of coffee is expected to rise from 1 euro to 1 euro and 50 cents.
This is not the first time that electricity is being expensive with this government and bajagi quietly is a nalt-cognition fee. With us businesses are more likely that some will even conclude they can't afford it. The rise in energy prices will certainly reflect on the rising prices of our menus. For example, coffee from 1euro to us will be expensive at 1.50 cents”, said Rtv21 Naim Llapashtica, manager of a coffee shop.
The decision on expensive electricity is being largely opposed now and almost three months from citizens, businesses, nongovernmental organisations, as well as from the country's president, Vjosa Osmani. Three protests were even staged as a sign of discontent, which are still facing deaf ears.
The demand for expensive electricity was initially started in February, since companies for distribution and electricity supply KOST, KEDS and KESCO submitted to the Energy Regulatory Office a requirement for changing tariffs. This began to get even more serious when the latter assessed this demand and said it envisions an average tariff increase of about 16%.
