Ramadan Nijshori, the first man to have openly confessed his experience as a victim of sexual violence during the war in Kosovo, has shown that his public confession has served as an incentive for others to take the difficult step to get help.
In an interview for the interactive Talks show, Nijshori said that after his appearance on April 14th, two other men who were violated during the war period have appeared in the KCRT organisation to seek support.
I am very happy and proud that after my confession, on April 14, two men ( violated during the war) have come to the association (KCRT) and sought help. That makes me even more proud of what I came out and confessed. I am very grateful to all Kosovo society for the support they have given me. Only the two that have come out is very, very important to me”, Nijshori said in an interview for an interactive Talks show. /Periscope
