Pablo Ortwells, the sports director of Mallorca, has spoken about the possibility that Kosovo national attacker Vedat Muriqi will leave the club.
This, reports the media “Estadio Deportivo”, has brought a situation in which Muriqi is not excluded from the RCD Mallorca in the next summer merkato.
A possible escape is not ruled out either by Pablo Ortwells, the sport director of RRCD Mallorca.
In an interview for the newspaper “Marca”, he said Muriqi is an important player and is a good sign he wants to continue with the club.
We'd be happy to keep counting on him. He has a contract in effect and when the time comes, we hope that the parties will reach agreement and he will continue on to Mallorca”, he said.
Despite this attempt to reduce tensions, Pablo Ortwells has not closed the door to a possible evacuation of Vedat Muriqi in next summer's merkato, saying that everything can happen when he is asked about Muriq, Larini and Abdon Prats' future.
“All three have contracts, and in that sense we are calm. Nothing's disfellowshipped. They're ours, and in the summer we'll see what's going to happen”, Ortellis added.
Vedat Muriqi, this season has scored 7 goals in 26 matches, adding 2 assistings. The attacker is happy with RRCD Mallorca, but he has long sought a renovation of the contract that the club has already preferred to avoid. /Periscope
