Minister Ceku has not obeyed the Kosovo Football Federation's statement, which surprised a communiqué, saying Kosovo's symbols were not removed from Congress UEFA, follow Periscope.
Minister Ceku says it is clear that Kosovo symbols have been removed.
These are the details that will explain UEFA, and the removal of symbols will have to follow a standard procedure in the logistics of that organization. However, we have photographs, which are already public, where Kosovo's flag is not on the table until they see the flags of other states. Whether it happened at the conclusion or after the end, however, there is no logic that one time the Kosovo flag should be removed only and taken some photos and then continued with the others. This I think has been done by the Federation of Serbia, but this does not reduce responsibility, as this has not been the event of the Serbian federation, but the organisation of UEFA-s”, Ceku told the “Gazeta” show in “Kanal10”.
Also, in the proposal for “Kanal10”, the minister said that the state has previously instructed all the Kosovo sports federations to release or withdraw from any sports activity whatever they may be if the Kosovo side is not treated the same as the participants of other countries.
We have a policy that we have communicated with all federations. Wherever sports events take place in the world, attendance should be only with our state symbols. No symbols, no participation. The removal of symbols means the removal of Kosovo athletes”, he said.
As you know, present at the UEFA Congress, by the end of the works, were NFF representatives, Chairman Agim Ademi and U.d secretary Marcus Weidner.
