After receiving the silver medal, Ian Hauri, Théo Brochard, Jonathan Fahrimann and Sven Vineis decided not to return from the flags during the Israeli anthem that were also the winners, as did the Italians, who completed the podium thanks to their bronze medal.
In X, Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar wrote: “The Swiss team should be ashamed of their indecent behavior. You don't know how to lose and you were brought in a way that shamed you and your country”, reports Top Channel, broadcast Periscope.
