The Gnjilan municipality's NFF team together to build a football field

The renovation of Gjilan City Stadium has become history.

Work has been put off without much work. The stadium in Gjilan has remained a project for several years, despite many promises of its construction.

But on Monday it has become known that a football field will be built.

For the construction of a new football field in Gjilan, a Memorandum of Co-operation has been signed Monday between the president of the Kosovo Football Federation, Agim Ademi and the mayor of Gjilan municipality, Alban Hyseni.

The construction of the new field in Gjilan comes as part of the FFK programme every 45 days a football field, aimed at improving football infrastructure in every corner of the country. The new area that will be built in Gjilan will create even better conditions and opportunities for clubs, youth and the sports community in general in this municipality”, the NAK report writes.

Gjilan's light is among the most organised clubs in the country.

But Gjilan's light is suffering the most consequences from the renovation of the city stadium. The foundation stone for the renovation of the stadium in Gjilan was set in 2017.

On the basis of the old project, renovation has had to be completed on October 23, 2020.
