Despite having current Superleague leader and one of this season's most consolidated teams, the whitecals led by coach Edsim Thaci showed dominance in every aspect of the game, closing this duel with a total score of 4:0 after two meetings.
Ardian Muja was the crucial player of the challenge, achieving two goals in the first part. He opened the series of goals in the 10th minute after the assistation by Ramiz Bytyqi, and doubled the advantage in the 39th minute, after a beautiful combination with Leotrim Kryeziu both with precise shots inside the area.
The advantage was deepened in the extra minutes of the first half, when Albin Krasniqi realised a superhero from the free kick, which weighed the fans present at “Fadil Vorkri”, who, despite the rainfall, did not stop supporting the team.
After that victory, Pristina secured the qualifications in the Kosovo Cup final, where it will face Llap.
For the capitals this is the third consecutive time to reach the final: in 2023 they were defeated by the Balkans, and in 2022 they triumphed over Gjilan. Meanwhile, Llapi is a third-time finalist in the last four years, winning the trophy in 2021 and 2022.
The final is scheduled to take place on May 14th at the “Stadium, Fadil Vokri” in Pristina. Besides the trophy, the winner will also secure a seat in European competitions, namely, at UEFA Europe League. /Periscope
