Failure to elect Chief Parliamentary, session continues Monday

The Vetevendosje Movement's proposal to elect Chief Parliamentary Albulen Haxhiun has failed on Saturday 19 April. Albulen Haxhiu in both votes received 57 parliamentary votes -- out of 61 -- while 20 of them opposed and abstained, from 115 deputies in the hall.
After the session, Haxhiu told reporters that her name will be proposed Monday, while accusing other political parties, according to her, are blocking the country's institutions.
“S first let me thank 57 deputies who supported me as speaker of the Assembly, four votes are needed. So, of all the deputies, 61 should be for. As you can see, the session was illustrated, within 48 hours the next session was called, the Assembly was not changed without the chairman and the vice president. We were ready to proceed with further procedures, but it seems the opposition is blocking the Assembly because they do not support the VV proposal. It's up to the VV to make the next proposal, it's going to be the same name, thank you”, she said on Saturday.
To The PDK, the time of establishing new institutions has only begun, and that they are willing to form them, if the LVV fails.
This party has announced it recognises the right to the first party to propose the candidate for the Speaker of the Parliament. However, The PDK has said its first responsibility lies with Vetevendosje for establishing institutions, but according to it, the responsibility is permanent to the VV./Periscopi/
