Kosovo Prosecutorial Council Chairman Ardian Hajdaraj has declared that priority should be given to minority communities, and has also demanded that the competition be promoted in Serbian.
Speaking of the date for the opening of the contest, he has said the reason these dates are set is that they are in the process of overhauling online application and during that time tested, and will be ready for application.
At the meeting, the chairman of the evaluation commission was decided to be Ardian Hajdaraj, while members will be: Arrian Gashi, Dardan Vunqi, Bahri Hyseni and Florie Shamlli. In turn, reserve members will be prosecutor Ramadan Koro and Visar Krasniqi.
Also, at the request of Pristina's chief Constitutional Prosecutor, Zejnullah Gashi, the internal competition for the advance of two prosecutors in the Department for Mitur opened.
The chief prosecutor's request was for four prosecutors to advance, but the Council praised that only two be advanced at this stage. The announcement will be open in 15 days, on May 5th.
While prosecutor Albana Parduz and Prosecutor Ator Skoro were advanced to the Randa Crime Department. Parduz is a prosecutor at the Constitutional Prosecutor in Mitrovica, while Skoro is a prosecutor at the Founding Prosecutor's Office in Prizren.
At the meeting, the Prosecutorial Council, with 11 votes to and none against, voted that these prosecutors be advanced to the DKR.
While prosecutor Kujtim Munishi by 8 votes has been elected National Coordinator for fighting economic crime. The current co-ordinator, Albanian Fazliu, was in the race for the position, who received two votes for and one abstention.
Similarly, for the fulfillment of the regulation for the establishment and functioning of the National Co-ordinator, members of the civil society, Visar Krasniqi, said that even this regulation was designed without any criterion and in 3 articles more like a decision than regulation.
Then, with 7 votes for, 1 against and 3 abstentions, regulation was approved for the establishment and functioning of the National Co-ordinator.
Prior to the adoption, Kosovo Prosecutorial Council member Veton Shabani has released the Council meeting when the discussion began on completing the regulation for the transfer and advance of state prosecutors. That, according to him, cannot be adopted without harmonising the KKP Law. So with the excuse not to conflict with the interest, he released the meeting.
