Londoners are aiming to reinforce defence this summer, with club identifying Dean Huijsen and Marc Guehi as key targets, according to TEAMtalk.
“Blut” are planning to bring two new defenders ahead of the 2025/26 season and see Huijsen and Guehi among the market's most valued profiles. Huijsen, currently at Bournemouth, has appeared as one of the most prominent defenders of Premier League this season, reports Telegraph, broadcast Periscope.
The 20-year-old is attracting interest from best clubs across Europe and has a 50 million-pound release clause in his contract.
Meanwhile, Chelsea is also closely following Kristal Palace player Marc Guehi. The 24-year-old English man, who has emerged from the Chelsea Youth Academy, is seen as a suitable player to return to Stamford Bridge.
Guehi's contract at Selhurst Park is valid until the summer of 2026, but Palace is said to be open to sell it this summer in order to avoid its free defeat later on.
It's said that “Eagles” are ready to be separated from their star defenders for a fee of about 50 million pounds. /Periscope/
