IndexOnline sources, close to the investigation, have exclusively confirmed that those arrested are:
Ryan Bella, Hakki Bella, Edmond Lika, Shkeling Kuka, Riley Murati, Diamond Gashi and Vatan Qaka.
The chief suspect in the sergeant's murder is Ryan Bella, 18, who allegedly committed the crime at the age of 17. Meanwhile, according to IndexOnline's sources, the organiser of this extremist group is his brother, Haki Bela.
Among those arrested are a former police officer and a former member of the Kosovo Security Force (FSK) who had abandoned their duties to join the group.
At a media conference held in Ferizaj, Kosovo Police Director Gazmend Hoxha, and chief prosecutor of the Founding Prosecutor in Ferizaj, Burim Cerkini, said the possible motives for this murder are linked to the victim's “operation as police official”.
Investigations and raids on the case are still under way. Police and prosecutors have seized numerous evidence that is expected to help fully document this serious criminal case.
