Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has declared he is willing to sign the mineral agreement with the United States.
In a statement to the BBC, Zelensky said the agreement is on the table, ready to be signed.
It's outside politics to continue what happened in the past, we're constructive. The agreement, which is on the table, will be signed if the parties are ready”, he declared on Sunday.
He apologized to US President Donald Trump for the argument that took place on February 28th in the Oval Office, as he added that what happened is nothing positive.
The Ukrainian president has repeated calls that a strong guarantee to Ukraine would be a powerful army. Zelensky has suggested that he is sure this period will pass, adding that in the future, if the talks are constructive, there will be positive results.
