In the second half, Girona reacted and equated the outcome by means of Arnaut Danjuma in the 53rd minute, writes Gazeta Express, Kolis Periscopi.
However, Barcelona did not give up and Robert Leandowski restored the advantage for locals in the 61st minute.
In the 86th minute, Ferran Torres scored the fourth goal for Barcelona, closing the match with a clear triumph for the blaugrans.
After that victory, Barcelona is tied to 66 points, preserving the leader of La League with three points more than Real Madrid, which follows 63 points. Meanwhile, Girona remains 13th with 34 points.
This success strengthens Barcelona's positions in the fight for the title, while Leandowski continues to be confirmed as the best goalist of the season.
