This decision has followed in response after Vucic recently offended Serbia's Radio Television correspondents (RTS) from Nis, and then due to, as they say, an apology of shamelessness.
They think journalists should ignore the activities of the Serbian president, especially in social networks because this content is not of public interest.
“) Daily television coverage in which Vuciq makes monologues from which it is impossible to determine what news is not even of public importance”, have stressed by the Coalition.
They commemorate that, according to the Constitution of the Republic of Serbia, the president must express the state “ ”, while Vuciqi, according to them, is doing the opposite to daily attacks on critics.
The same is true of journalists who report critically and remind them that journalist Lidija Georgiyev, whom Vucinciqi called '%mbecilı, and she did not even report about it.
According to them, Vucinqi appears as a service PR of the Parliament, Government, Prosecutorship, courts and other institutions, which is contrary to its constitutional competencies. In conclusion, they have again called on Vuciki to apologise to RTS journalists from Nis.
This initiative is signed by these organisations: Online Media Association, Association of Independent Journalists of Vojvodina, Association of Independent Journalists of Serbia, Afarist Association of Local and Independent Media “Local Press”, Slavko Quruvia Foundation and the Trade Union of Culture, Arts and Media Branch “Independence”.
