The project concerns the construction of a modern sports complex in the San Siro area, where the legendary stadium is currently located.
Under the plan presented by clubs, they aim to take over the 98-year-old stadium and land connected by the city of Milan.

But along with the arena itself, the plan includes a comprehensive development of the surrounding area, which will be transformed into a multifunctional sports zone, writes Telegraph, broadcast Periscope.
The project envisions building a museum dedicated to the history of two clubs, shops, business facilities, hotels and broad green areas.
The file also contains a proposal for “to run” of the current San Siro Stadium, with the aim of preserving historical value and adapting it to a new purpose.

Additional costs for the renovation of all the complex are estimated at 500m euros.
According to the current plan, the new stadium should be completed by 2031, giving Milan's town one of Europe's most modern soccer facilities. /Periscope/
