Krasniqi: The embassy vote was not worth it.

Albert Krasniqi from Democracy to Action has spoken about the voting process for the February 9th elections, which has been held in Kosovo consulates and embassies in friendly states.

In Klan Kosova, he has declared that this voting process has been more costly and not worth it.

This operation wasn't worth this number of voters we got. For political power it's important the number of deputies in the Assembly, the number of votes is good for demographic studies to see where you have voters when you need to mobilise. Actually, the power of political parties translates into the number of MPs they have in the Assembly, and all this mobilization is a change for one seat, okay, let's be, it's a way of voting through mail that they don't have the right to vote they also have, even in local elections, this way of voting is not legal. It's an extra way of not reducing their right to vote”.

For that cost, we have embassies in the United States where there were 56 voters, where the staff had to work between 9:00 and 7:00 so the staff can stay there to wait for 50 people to vote. Not why they are not important, but it is an extremely complicated operation that is not worth applying to”, Krasniqi said.
